As Alor Tanapi is located on a remote island in a developing country, we kindly ask guests to be understanding of certain limitations that we have on the island. As you can imagine, a place like Alor does not have any kind of recycling facility or waste management system, therefore we try our best to not create additional non-biodegradable waste. We are grateful if you can please help us in our efforts to minimize non-biodegradable waste. Through Alor Tanapi, we hope to be able to share our knowledge of what we have learned over the years with locals and foreigners alike, and that we can help build a more sustainable future for the generations to come so that they may continue to enjoy the magnificent gem that is Alor.
