Our Dining Area
Our dining area area offers a beautiful view overlooking the Pantar Strait, facing the extinct volcano islands of Ternate and Pura. From here, you can watch the sun as it sets behind Pantar island every evening.
We serve three meals daily family-style, snacks are available in the afternoon or early evening, free-flow of coffee, tea, and drinking water are included in all packages. As much as possible, we source our ingredients locally and work closely with the local farmers to help them develop their garden in order to have a broader range of different fruits and vegetables. Our inspiration for our dishes draws on many recipes from across Indonesia, Southeast Asia, and, at times internationally, to create delicious, homemade meals.
Our Lounge
Our lounge area is connected to the restaurant and shares the same beautiful views for you to enjoy while you relax.
The restaurant and lounge area also features a bar and a small library where you can take a look through our fish books and various reading materials. We have sofas from which you can enjoy the view and relax.
Dining Details
Food A-Plenty
Alor Tanapi dining consists of three meals per day including snacks, coffee, tea, and drinking water are included in every package. As much as possible, we source our ingredients locally and have started to grow some of our own fruit and vegetables to complement certain ingredients that are not available in the local market.
Authentic Cuisine
We have designed our menu based on the best Indonesian and southeast Asian recipes available. It’s varied, tasty, and primarily Asian. However, should you have a preference for Western food or specific dietary requirements, just let us know prior to booking and we will do our best to cater to your needs.
Environmental
We try to avoid having non-biodegradable waste, therefore we also offer fresh juice, coconut water, dairy and non-dairy smoothies (using coconut or kenari nut milk), lime, tamarind or ginger iced tea, iced coffee, and iced chocolate.
A note regarding alcohol: Beer is available for purchase at our resort. For wine and liquor, please inquire for further information.

Alor Tanapi is a newly built dive resort located on the island of Alor, East Nusa Tenggara Indonesia, approximately 20 kilometres from the main town of Kalabahi.
Our intimate resort offers quality accommodation and diving facilities as well as a personalized service for couples and small groups.
