Dive Alor’s world-class muck sites, famous for rare macro and critters, alongside vibrant reefs, dramatic walls, and pelagic encounters.
Hosted by Alor Tanapi, this workshop explores one of Indonesia’s most diverse underwater destinations.
Beyond the reef, we’ll film traditional fishing practices, capturing local fishermen freediving to set and retrieve bamboo traps. A rare blend of world-class diving and authentic cultural storytelling.
A boutique dive resort overlooking the Pantar Strait, purpose-built for divers and underwater filmmakers. Comfortable bungalows with accommodation ranging from hillside to oceanfront options, all with private terraces and sea views. The resort features a dedicated camera room, dive centre, and dedicated camera rinse areas.

MEET YOUR HOST
Jacob is an award-winning underwater cinematographer and photographer, specialising in natural history behaviour, conservation storytelling, and marketing content.
He is a Fourth Element pioneer, an editor at Scubaverse, and produces underwater video courses for The Underwater Club. He has been a photo pro at Lembeh Resort and Bunaken Oasis with several workshops under his belt has helped hundreds of divers level up their underwater photo and video skills.

WHAT THIS WORKSHOP WILL BE ABOUT
We will be diving in one of the most diverse regions in Indonesia, therefore we will have the ability to focus on a whole variety of underwater video covering both macro and wide angle. This workshop will focus on storytelling and how to nail your shots with perfect exposure and lighting.
