Snorkeling the Pantar Strait
The Alor-Pantar strait is known for its bottomless coral reef walls, diverse marine life and clear water. While the drop offs go down to extreme depths, they also rise to the shallows and many areas are ideal for snorkelers. The islands of Alor, Pantar, Pura and Ternate are surrounded by shallow reefs that host a number of interesting marine encounters.
