Our newly-built dive center comprises two stories: on the first level, you will find an outdoor shower to rinse off after your time in the sea, dedicated rinse tanks where the crew will take care of washing your BCD, regulator, fins, wetsuit, mask and camera, a drying area for your gear, a wet room to store your equipment, as well as a changing room and a washroom. Adjacent to the wet room, there is a dedicated camera room to dry, disassemble and charge your camera.

On the upper floor, we have a relaxing area and a deck with sunchairs and umbrellas where you can soak up the sun after a cool water dive.

Rental Equipment

We have dive equipment for rent should you need to rent gear during your stay, although we do strongly recommend divers to bring their own equipment if possible, as you will find that your own equipment always fits you better, in particular wetsuits and masks at the very minimum. If you need to rent equipment, kindly advise us at the time of your booking so that we can make the necessary arrangements and ensure we have the proper sizes in store.

Dive Schedule at Alor Tanapi

logo swirl blue

As a small and intimate dive resort in Alor, we like to offer variety and flexibility to the dive schedule when possible. In general, we will do two morning boat dives departing after breakfast and returning to the resort for lunch. There is an option to do an additional afternoon or night dive. All our dives are guided boat dives with a maximum ratio of 1 dive instructor or divemaster to 4 guests.

We try to combine and find the right balance between the number of reef dives and muck dives, if the group has a clear preference for one or the other, we will, of course, be happy to cater to these preferences when possible.

The average number of boat dives offered per day is 2-3, special requests for 4 daily dives need to be arranged and agreed prior to booking a stay. We always time our dives to ensure the safety of our guests and dive when the current is mild or moderate. The Pantar Strait is known for its strong currents, but we will always choose the dive site and time wisely and carefully so that each and every one of our divers will have a pleasant and safe experience.
